TTB File Requirements

Below is a summary of the label file requirements to apply for COLA online. Consult the Alcohol & Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau (TTB) for official requirements. *

  • Use JPEG or TIFF file format
  • Compression ratio should be set at MEDIUM or LOW
  • Resolution rate should be set at 150 DPI (range of 120 DPI and 170 DPI)
  • File size limit is 450KB

* It is the customer’s responsibility to adhere to official TTB label requirements when submitting their label image for COLA registry.
