How does Digital Offset compare to traditional offset printing quality?

The technical differences are that the Waterless Offset printing process yields a 300 line screen image whereas the Digital Offset yields a 250 line screen image. This means a subtle difference to the naked eye. Many observers cannot tell the difference without the use of a loupe.

Do you have dies I can use for no-charge?

Yes. Tapp offers its Digital Offset customers a choice of pre-existing dies at no charge. Download In-House Cutting Dies pdf from our Digital Offset Printing page. This form will show you the various sizes of the dies and provide you cut-out forms to tape to your bottle.

What is the average lead time for Digital Offset orders?

Our lead times depend on volume in production and are tracked from when we received the signed order confirmation and final artwork.

Do you print spot custom and Pantone colors?

The Digital Offset program prints in 4-color process. We have been successful in manipulating the combinations of these colors to achieve special color requests.

What is the minimum order size for the digital offset?

The order minimum is $500.

Why is there a pre-press fee if plates and films are not required to print?

Our pre-press fees cover the labor that is required to get your color match correct.

Can I order digital labels with an emboss?

Yes, you can!
